The dream I had

I’m walking through the (a) town.

Old buildings are standing in the streets.
(There are old buildings every where.)

I stop at the end of the road and look around.

There is a bus stop on my left.

Many people are waiting for the bus.

Venders holding heavy burdens(packages),  high school students chatting each other. Men look tired and more.

I turn to the right

I can see a way to the hill.

There are houses with take cared garden(well cared for gardens) beside the street.
And(A ) coffee shop is open. I don't know why but I understand (know) its (the) owner’s house is behind the coffee shop.  I also know there is our family graveyard (grave) is on the hill.

Those(These) scenes are really familiar to me.

To tell the truth, this is not what I had this week.
I saw this image in my dreams once and again.(a few times)

I had not dreamt at all this week. It would be easy to say I could not do my homework but I'd like to try (do )something about (for) my homework.

During the the past week I have tried to remenber what I dremed  but was unable to. I usually wake up and immediately thinking about the dream I just dreamed.

But this past week is different.
I could not remenber a dream I had. This is not the usual for me. I usually lay on bed when I first wake up and enjoy to think about the dreams I just had.
Perhaps trying so hard to remember forced them further away.

Have you ever tried to rember something so hard that the act of trying seemed to make it harder to remember?
Sometimes when we are trying to remember something it is better to stop trying and think about something else. The thing we were trying to remember may suddenly come to uswhile we are going about our day.

Unfortunately, this was not the case for me. I could not remember any of the dreams I had last week.

Perhaps trying so hard to remember forced them further (farther) away. Have you ever tried to rember(remember) something so hard that the act of trying seemed to make it harder to remember?

Sometimes when we are trying to remember something it is better to stop trying and think about something else. The thing we were trying to remember may suddenly come to us while we are going about our day.

I usually lay in bed....

やはり、アメリカ人は、I lay in bed.
I usually lie in bed....

We are going about our day.
=I am minding my own business.
